Hi, I'm Arungi Cahaya

I’m a software engineer with nearly five years of experience, currently working at OTANI and based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As a generalist software engineer, I have strong experience across the stack, with a primary focus on mobile development, especially React Native and native Android (Kotlin), as well as building and integrating backend services and APIs.

I enjoy working end-to-end on products, from designing user experiences to implementing reliable backend logic. Even when challenges arise, I stay focused on problem-solving and delivering practical, well-engineered solutions.

Professional Experience

Currently at OTANI, contributed to almost all of their applications and infrastructure
Mobile Developer at Telkom Indonesia , built and maintained internal mobile applications using React Native and Kotlin.
Contributed to early-stage INA Digital as Mobile Developer, built and initiated their app called INA Gov
Backend Developer at Pijar Sekolah , improved their helpdesk dashboard system.
Contributed to Telkom Legion UI Design System, focusing on Jetpack Compose.
Also working on Figma To Code by Telkom Legion, handling the app build process, ensuring the service is run smoothly, and the web interface is properly built and ready to preview.
Frontend Developer Intern at The Netwerk, created user flows, wireframes, and website layouts based on design specifications; also learned Linux.
